Our RED LODGE LONGHOUSE PROGRAM invites you on an expedition to the last real frontier – your inner world. We give you the owner’s manual for your mind and for your energy body

We teach you how to connect with your inner intent, to access different levels of consciousness, to enter heightened awareness, to have happiness, harmony, health, connection and meaning in your life. We teach you how you function as an energy field, and explain the building blocks and energy laws of different dimensional realities. We give you the alchemy of ceremonial magick so you can unify your different aspects of self, gain harmonic resonance and communicate with the mineral, plant, animal, human and spirit worlds

The Red Lodge Longhouse offers you a program that you will not find anywhere else. Rooted in the ancient wisdom and beauty of the Southwest Power of Turtle Island, we provide a time proven step-by-step process of education and integration. Through teachings, exercises and ceremony, Red Lodge provides the tools you need to bring beauty, power and magick back into your life. The Red Lodge Longhouse is about learning to mature and achieve balance

The “Gateway” process is the underlying structure of self-development within all of the Eight Great Powers. Red Lodge is a structured educational program that takes students through the first three gateways of the Sweet Medicine SunDance (SMSD) Path. These gateways are designed to teach us how to do the three G's: "Grow up, Get over it, and Get on with life." Our path is the path of a warrior – it will challenge all of your pre-conceived notions of who you are. We are not another religion, belief system or weird cult that claims to do it for you. We want you to become an inquisitive free-thinking autonomous individual who takes responsibility for your life and lives it to the fullest. We will empower you and provide a safe journey within a circle of friends who share a desire to make a difference, to take their power and grow up into their highest potential. It is a great journey – but you must do the walking. You must have the willingness to change and make the leap into the next level of human evolution

Structure of the Red Lodge Longhouse Program

The Red Lodge Longhouse is a four-year program designed to support the progress through the first three gateways of the SMSD Path. Students commit to one year at a time, similar to a college or university program. Each Year meets seven times in a twelve month period, for six weekends and one full week of ceremony in nature

Years I and II allow the student to explore these teachings, practices and ceremonies. Before entering Third Year, the student is asked to make the decision whether this path is their Path with Heart and then proceed into Third and Fourth Year as Apprentices

These teachings provide knowledge that most of us never received, but have always hungered for, such as how to achieve balance among our emotional, mental, physical, spiritual and sexual aspects. Realistic, natural and frank, these beautiful teachings provide solutions to many of our unanswered questions about self, life and others. They hold the promise for each of us to become a balanced, sacred human being

Teachings in First Year Red Lodge

During these six weekends of First Year Red Lodge you will learn about:

Medicine Wheels:

Medicine wheels symbolize life as a never-ending circular process, rather than a linear experience with a beginning and an end. We overlay wheels (put them on top of each other) to connect the concepts in each direction (graphical demonstration). In this way, we learn. For example, if we overlay these two wheels:

... we learn how our aspects can be used most effectively: catalyze (spark change) in our sexuality, give with our emotions, determine with our spirit, etc. If we do otherwise, we end up out of balance. For example, do you know someone who determines with their mind?

Did you ever notice that a dog feels happy when you feel happy, and sad when you're sad? That's because animals are receivers of energy. We humans are determiners of energy (notice we are now overlaying the Wheel of Energy Uses with the Four Worlds). What are we determining for the future of our planet? In Red Lodge we change ourselves, and ripple positive changes into the world like a pebble dropped in a pond. The above is only one part of the first weekend!

Teachings in Second Year Red Lodge

The second year deals with our substance — our physical reality, our physical body

You will discover what kind of character structure you have and why your body looks and works as it does. You will learn about your molding, sculpting and armoring and how you have created a predictable pattern of reaction to people and events in your daily life

The task of this year is to see where and how your patterns limit your experience of anything new

You will explore what your energy body is like, what energy laws apply to it, and how your senses could and should function if you break the old patterns. Of course, you will receive plenty of techniques to break these patterns — but you have to do them yourself. You will learn about the potential that you already carry within your energy body and about energy sensitive perception (ESP) and how to increase it

And you will learn how to use basic medicine tools and power items

You will learn much more about the different levels of dreaming and receive tools and techniques to use in the art of controlled dreaming

You will learn how to work with mesas and how to make your home into a strong vortex of power

Teachings in Third Year Red Lodge

The teachings, ceremony and your integration of this Third Year of Red Lodge ensure your ability to use the tools for self healing and for service to others

You will be introduced to the Healing Paradigm of the Twisted Hairs, a highly sophisticated structure that enables you to recognize the cause behind all symptoms of sickness, disease and illness. You will learn to apply the same model for any other problems in life by putting them onto a wheel and discerning the underlying cause and what to do to find the solution

You will also be given tools for living your life in “Dharma” – a life of strong spiritual determination where you are no longer at the effect of old patterns but open to new opportunities and evolution into your higher potential

The Third Year also provides teachings and practice that help you hone your skills and bring this excellence into your everyday life, bringing you more health, hope, happiness, humor and harmony

Teachings in Fourth Year Red Lodge

The Fourth Year of Red Lodge offers more teachings, techniques and ceremonies that support you to become the “Rainbow Warrior” who has written a “new story”. This is the “Great Work” of re-creating yourself

• You will be given more advanced tools to live in Dharma that are key to manifesting the power and beauty you are seeking in your everyday life
• You will delve more deeply into the SMSD Healing paradigm that was introduced in Year III, giving you a greater insight into healing yourself and being of service to others. Within this self healing, you will be given teachings on how we all play out addiction in our lives and what we can do to change this
• You will also learn and experience healing within a Ceremonial Healing Circle as well as skill training in the various roles of the Healing Circle

Another important aspect at this level of Red Lodge is to understand your inner maturational process of evolution so that you can appreciate and express the great potential inside you

This fourth year of Red Lodge offers skill training in leadership to discover your individual gifts and shining as you evolve into the Rainbow Warrior who is committed to being of service to life and others and being part of the solution on this planet
